TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Booking, Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy
Welcome to Frolamics. We value your time and have created a space for your creativity to flourish. To ensure a smooth and respectful environment for all our students, please review our studio policies.

How Your Membership Works
Your spot in a class is confirmed once payment is made in full.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
All programs fees are non-refundable.
Once purchased, the programs and membership cannot be cancelled for a full or partial refund. This policy applies to all circumstances and missed classes, regardless of the reason, including illness. Please be certain of your availability for the dates you select before completing your payment.

Rescheduling Policy
Classes cannot be carried over to the next month.
However, if you provide at least 1-2 days' notice of your absence, you may have the opportunity to join another class (either morning or evening) within your active your membership period.
This option is strictly subject to availability and is not guaranteed.
If there are no available spots in other groups, the missed class is considered forfeited.

No-Shows
If you miss a class without providing advance notice, the opportunity to join another group is not available, and the class is considered used.

Cancellations by Frolamics
If we ever need to cancel a class for any reason, we will be sure to offer you a convenient date to reschedule or apply the credit to your next month's membership.

Mentorship Programs
Your personal program will be tailored to you individually after your First Private Class. During this initial session, we will assess your current experience and creative goals to create a plan that is perfect for you.

What's Next?
After completing the 2 months program, you have two paths to continue your creative journey:
The "Personal Project" Tariff (3rd Month):
This option is for those who want to deepen their practice. The curriculum for your third month is
designed individually for you, based on your progress and interests from the first two months. This is your chance to focus on complex projects like sculptures, lamps, or developing your own collection of tableware.
Membership: Feeling confident? You can transition to our co-working space for independent practice. This allows you to work on your projects freely, using all the studio's facilities.

Membership
Our Membership is designed for those with basic or strong knowledge in ceramics. Its main idea is freedom of self-expression. It’s a place to work on your own projects, develop professionally, or simply use the time as art therapy.

What Your Membership Includes:
  • Freedom for self-expression and individual practice.
  • Access to high-quality materials, including clay, a personal library of glazes, angobes, and underglaze paints.
  • Professional high-temperature firing (1220°C).
  • Periodic internal workshops and events to deepen techniques and develop creative skills. These are scheduled separately and require separate payment.
  • The opportunity for professional growth or to use your time as a ceramics therapy practice.
  • A space for creativity, hands-on work with materials, and idea exchange.

Participation Requirement
To ensure a productive and safe environment for everyone, members must have a basic knowledge of handbuilding, slips, and glazing. If you do not yet have these skills, we highly recommend starting with our Mentorship Program to build a strong foundation.

Studio Rules & Member Responsibilities
  • Studio Support: There is no mentor present during these sessions; however, a studio assistant will be available. The assistant can help you with minor tasks and provide you with materials and glazes, but does not provide instruction or teaching.
  • Shared Responsibility: Students must respect others' space, clean their work area thoroughly after each session, and maintain the tools they use. You are responsible for your own work and for keeping your workspace clean.
  • Studio Materials Only: Only materials provided by the studio may be used. Bringing your own clay or glazes is not permitted.
  • Personal Belongings: Please take all your personal tools and belongings with you after each session. The studio is not responsible for items left behind.
  • Work Storage: Bisqueware (unglazed fired pieces) will be stored for a maximum of 30 days. Finished (glazed) work must also be collected within 30 days.
  • Firing Schedule: We do not have a fixed firing schedule. Firings are conducted as the kiln becomes full and depending on the studio's workload. Therefore, we cannot guarantee specific dates for the completion of your work.
  • Kiln Damage Liability: Students are fully responsible for ensuring the bottom of their pieces are properly prepared for firing (clean of glaze). If a piece sticks to and damages a kiln shelf, a fee for the shelf's replacement will be charged.

Pricing for Materials & Firing
The cost for materials and firing is based on the weight of your raw, unfired piece. Your piece will be weighed before the first firing, and the final cost is billed at €12 per kilogram.

Renew your membership
To renew your membership and secure your spot for the following month, payment must be made one week before your new period begins.
